I love working with kids because I can see the good in every child, no matter their reason for coming to therapy. There is nothing more rewarding than watching their inherent goodness shine through even brighter the longer we work together. I also live for the moments when parents tell me, “Stephanie, parenting is fun again.”

I currently work with children who are navigating a range of life challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, disruptive behavior, emotional dysregulation, academic challenges, depression, childhood trauma, picky eating, children of divorce, challenges with making friends, sibling and parent conflict, autism, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where they can express themselves through play while processing their emotions.

Education and Experience:

I received my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I have experience in community mental health, nonprofit, and private practice settings, where I have specialized in providing play therapy to children and parenting support to adults. I am trained in child-centered play therapy, childhood trauma, and neurodevelopment.

When I’m not working, you can find me at Pilates, playing with my terrier or attending seasonal festivals and events downtown. I enjoy going to art museums and traveling. My favorite destinations are Greece and Mexico.
