Everyone can benefit from having someone listen to them with patience, empathy, and understanding. When we bear witness to another’s experience, we help them feel seen and cared for as individuals. This type of connection allows us to work through tough times more easily.

“It’s ok to not be ok.”

We have to start where we’re at and work from one place to get to the other. I help my clients understand it’s ok to not be ok. Therapy gives clients the place and space to show up and work towards the goals they have for themselves and their lives. I draw from CBT and DBT perspectives to help clients manage anxiety, depression, and anger issues. I use humor and a sense of calmness to help my clients feel connected and safe.

I am passionate about being a role model for people of color, ending racial disparities, and poverty. As a child of immigrants, I understand the struggle of making an identity for oneself amidst merging cultures. I spend my free time volunteering with a fraternity that does charity work and community engagement to lift people into better situations.

My Education and Experience:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree from Adler University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a crisis therapist in outpatient and inpatient settings. My clients are adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life stressors, men’s issues, and anger management. When I’m not working you can find me hosting my podcast, working out, playing video games, and looking for a new four-legged companion.
