I am passionate about inviting people to explore their approach to food and body with compassion, curiosity and empathy.
As a dedicated and compassionate dietitian, I am committed to working through the scope of a holistic lens to improve the relationship with food and the body. I believe that this is crucial in creating a solid foundation for your overall health and wellness.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, mood disorders and substance abuse as well as individuals looking for assistance with GI issues, diabetes management, cardiovascular conditions and general wellness. My philosophies of treatment originate from the principles of intuitive eating, a non-diet approach to food and health at every size.
I am a registered and licensed dietitian and received my Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Dietetics from Benedictine University. I completed my clinical training through Dominican University which included experience in clinical, community and foodservice settings.
My work experience consists of various levels of care as well as the supervision and training of a team of eating disorder dietitians in residential and partial hospitalization programs. I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The Behavioral Health DPG, The South Suburban Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the IAEDP Heartland Chapter and the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietician (IFEDD). I also recently completed my CED-RD certification through IAEDP.
