I am a graduate level counseling student at Northwestern University pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I have training in behavior therapy and worked as a Registered Behavior Technician in the ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) world. While there, I worked with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and with varying degrees of cognitive, motor, and verbal abilities. My goal was to implement ABA interventions that would aid individuals in building and improving communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills.
As a clinical intern at Life Insight, I see adults dealing with various life transitions. I practice from a person centered approach, and believe therapy is a collaborative relationship between therapist and client. I strive to build a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to be met with kindness and grace.
When I’m not working, you can find me baking, on a nature walk, catching up on a show, or singing/dancing to Frozen songs with my two toddlers.
