Jorie Miklos, MA, LCPC
I like to live by the saying: “Find joy in the simple things.”
Easier said than done, right? I thought so too until I made it my mission to change my perspective into something more positive. As a result, I found a sense of peace knowing I can change my mood simply by looking at a situation in a different light. This insight allows me to effectively work with my clients when they feel “stuck.” I help others find purpose in life and thus deeper meaning behind our experiences. It is then that we can better accept what we are going through with greater ease.
My passion is working with adolescents and young adults to help develop a sense of self when struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, and life changes.
I use a warm, supportive approach along with humor to create a comfortable environment for my clients. I’m here to walk with you to assist in developing a stronger understanding of who you are and what you can achieve!
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy doing things outdoors, working out, and being with friends and family.
